My poem dedicated to Israel
swimming in the ocean of hate
surrounded by millions of sharks we are here by our fate paying no attention to caustic remarks driving on a highway of life we speed through the traffic at night enemies sliding in butter, like knife with feelings of anger and spite they search through faces in cars looking for for victims to blow looking for those who already in scars keeping in mind quid pro quo agitated, angry and mad all they want is to do us in preparing rockets on launch pad ready to commit the actual sin We want to live like other people live We want to see our children grow So tired of feeling sorrow and grieve But you know - we wont bow to those who come after us nadezgda, hatikva, hope we refuse to be on the rope refuse to give back what's paid with blood never again will be dragged through the mud Proud people with G-d given right We will prevail, we will survive! We were buried but we came alive Our blood was spilled too many times We went through horrors, lived throug crimes ; We will fight, we will never give up Our struggle had taken days and nights But we'll succeed and raise our cup To our future that's sunny and bright.
