to Myself...

Well, she walks into the house
all dark and gloomy
one candle burning in the corner.....
in the house that is roomy

but only cat and mouse
like a mourner or a warner
greeting her...

well, she listens to the music
or she writes her verse
with lots of curse,
with mood that's perverse

looking at the walls and seeing face
out of place; needs to be replaced.

now looking in the mirror seeing herself
asking herself, who is that elf
not sure that its her imagination
guess music is wrong, need to change the station

now talking to her mouse and cat
listening to their advice
about this and that
but mostly about her own vice

what cat and mouse can tell her
they only can concur
what she already knows
but they're her friends and so she chose
to listen; and then she bows...

something is happening here, but she is at a loss....
