days are running away like crazy
memories of past years becoming hazy
you read through old forgotten letters
and nothing their really matters
to you; because its gone, forgotten, put aside
you feel the need to hide your wounded pride;
but at night
those memories come back in dreams
flashes of light, those scary gleams
that make you scream....and you wake up
still seeing images in close-up;
shivering and sweating, but not forgetting
vividly remembering her eyes
hearing her voice, saying good byes....

long ago and far away; as if it was not even you
don't want to remember, want to subdue;
but tears are pouring after each dream
heart in turmoil, violent stream...
