סיפרו לי שלשיר המקורי של הללויה שי הרבה יותר בתים ממה שמושר בכל גירסה שהיא.

גם יפה, גם חכמה, גם תרבותית, גם משכילה. אני מאמין שממרום מעמדי החדש אצווה כי מס הכנסה יערוך ביקור אצל זאלופון לבדוק אילו עוד אוצרות הוא מחביא. ואז, כשתהיי בהוצאה לפועל ותעלי 11.90 ש"ח, אקנה אותך, ובא לקיחוט גואל.

יש גם ביצוע נפלא של גון קייל
אני כבר לא זוכר באיזה גרסה של מילים הוא השתמש, אבל הוא אחד הביצועים היפים לשיר (מבצע אותו בהופעה בליווי עצמי של פסנתר).
נדמה לי שזו גם הגרסה שמופיעה בשרק. |

בשרק מופיע רופוס ווינרייט, אבל יש גרסה נפלאה של ג'ון קייל.

והיה מדהים לראות שבשרק שמו את כל המלים ללא צנזורה!!!
ועד ששמע את ג'ף באקלי, הביצוע של ג'ון קייל (עם הגירסא הארוכה של המלים) בעיני ובאוזניי הוא המדהים והכואב ביותר...
