michael jackson was born in 1958
i grew up with mj in the background
ignoring him most of the time
i always thought that there was something somewhat kitchy in his music
and so there was
but sometimes, i found his melodies melidiouscly delicious....

because suddenly his life is put in context because of his death
then i can put back his life within all dimensions
and then, i discover a whole new personage
somebody with something somewhat tragic
speaking to all and almost everyone,

he was easy to grasp and that is why some called him superficial
but the contrary is truer i think
he; like many artists, was a sponge, a receptor for everything
and so sensitive
particularly to sadness

what is so surprising about that ....
at the end, that makes of him somebody not all superfluous but all too human
a wonderful artist
a real genious of music
somebody that i discovered in the late
so late
and thinking that i lived along that artist all through my 50 years ignoring makes me
understand how we can be so ignorant of others

there, he was in the background
and i never saw him
how ignorant can we be

there, he was voicing his feelings in such a talent
some of us want to do so
but we can\t
we are not given the same capacities
but then again, what did it give him >?
i wonder ......
