With nearly a million supporters, over 400.000 donors and 15 offices worldwide, WSPA has over 30 years of experience as an advocate and practical change maker for animals, and is now seeking to significantly develop its campaign capacity.
WSPA is recruiting for a Campaign Manager for its European Regional team to lead a small team undertaking the core tasks of WSPA’s EU-wide public campaigns which focus on farm animals, stray dogs and the wildlife trade.
Working with a Campaign Director for Europe, and managing two Campaign Officers, the Campaign Manager will ensure that the campaigns are planned, developed and implemented so that they have maximum impact and bring about sustainable change to the welfare of animals.The Campaign Manager will also work closely together with the campaigners in WSPA's four European country offices in the UK, Denmark, Sweden and The Netherlands.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of the campaign strategy and will be accountable for delivering related creative and effective actions. They will have substantial experience of implementing campaigns and managing projects, and will have the ability to build strong external relationships and inspire and model excellent team working behaviour. Experience and knowledge of, or interest in, animal welfare and of the campaigns content, will be an advantage.
This role will be based at WSPA’s office in the The Hague. Salary circa €65,000.
