this song, less clear to me than the other, speaks to me though of some of us - all of us - when we are damaged by life', worn out, as if having crossed bridges and being on the other side of youth. then comes the time of growing old, of maturing maybe...but this when one is looking for solitude, for the serenity of nothing, when it feels that nothing in life has really a meaning....
this text speaks really to me of these hurt individuals...they prefer silence, simple and low intensity than high and mighty...they have always a cry in their heart. sadness is their best friend and they speak of death already as a cradle back to peace.
they speak of life as time passed in prison already, as a sentence too long to carry, as an endless search for an inside freedom of might but having stop to search, they stay on the edge, and are happy just to have stopped. stopped the hurting march towards another wound. looking for a womb....having abandoned definitively their youth...time passed.
is this true ?

And you treated my woman to a flake of your life. And when she came back she was nobody's wife. I see you there with the rose in your teeth, one more thin gypsy thief. Well, I see Jane's awake. She sends her regards.

And what can I tell you my brother my killer? What can I possibly say? I guess that I miss you. I guess I forgive you. I'm glad that you stood in my way. If you ever come by here for Jane or for me, I want you to know that your enemy is sleeping. I want you to know that his woman is free. Yes, and thanks for the trouble you took from her eyes.
