You give me strength even when you are not near me.

Through you I have learned so much, and grown and developed in ways I would not have considered possible at my age -- apparently life really does begin at 40.

You are with me when we're apart, and I feel your warmth within me wherever I go.

I don't understand how I got this lucky, but I sure as shit ain't complaining.

I love you so much, you big, evil, rotten feline. Thank you for being everything you are.
