מישהי שקשרה אותי ביקשה מאוד שאכתוב לה שיר, אז כתבתי. הנה הוא:

Not in the sense of an apologist
You asked me to write
And that's what I've done tonight

But you didn't want my agony
Notwithstanding irony
You didn't want my deepest adoration
Nor my submission nor my elevation

So I wind up being introspective
Tied up in knots from every perspective
Since freedom is the heaviest set of chains
No fear, no pleasure, no pain, no gain

You left me hung to dry
Although that's exactly what makes me wet
You didn't even have to try
But as real as it is it's also in jest
