I am who I am. That much is true. We cannot run nor hide from the things we have done. They come back haunting us. In our dreams, in our thoughts. Every now and then. We are who we are. Just a faint remainder of who we used to be.

Syat I Afterwind - I couldn't possibly agree with you more.
And as long as we face our pasts with pride and use them as our strongest stepping stones towards our futures, I think these are fantastic, solid words of strength.

Syat I Afterwind - That's a damn shame. I hope it would have been if I'd written that, and I definitely think most of my past is fucked up in one way or another- but I'm intensely proud of who I am today thanks to it.
