When you cut me
I'll bleed tears -- don't be alarmed
It's just water
It doesn't stain
It will not leave a mark
cuts
used to prove I breath
intense and radient
the stream
disturbed the indifferent flesh
staining my clothes
unwashable dye
But, misspelled
so many times,
my ink has dried out
I've learnt the hard way
some truths we can't re-write
Don't be alarmed -- It's just water
I do not leave
a mark.
