I don't like pretentious TV shows the ones where in the trailer there is a character that comes in with badass music like she knows everything like she owns the room I don't like that they act as though they have already made a decision for the viewer. that this is THE TV show .
It is for the viewer to decide.
It shouldn't be declared as a fact because it isn’t one - it’s subjective.
I think that points to the fact that I don't like it when people declare what they are - what their attributes are. I much rather find out for myself. when they do make precise and specific claims about themselves I view them as pretentious. I think it is not very smart to take away the power of first impression just because you're too scared of letting go of control - that people can have their own thoughts about you, without you planting them in their head.
