I'm not a brat, and I never find myself finding the "need" to break any rules just to be annoying in hopes of getting punished. Ilike the idea of being punished but its not punishment if I never did anything wrong, ya know? Call me lawful good when I'm in subspace I guess.

Do you have to frame SM in terms of punishment? Perhaps think of it as a routine ritual done on a certain day? You could also think of it as a reward for being good. Not everyone has to stick to the brattting or being bad = punishment model.
