Judging by their profiles and postings, many people in The Cage seem to be disappointed, disgusted and even angry with the Israeli BDSM scene.
Not me.
I find most Israeli BDSM parties great fun.
I love the vibe, the outfits and the people. To me, it’s a wicked wonderland, and I’m Alice – assuming Alice were a bald, 36-year-old man in leather pants!
However, I just can’t get a session.
I feel awkward asking female friends to do something naughty and equally silly prostrating myself before a stranger (or grabbing her by the scruff of the neck).
Chatting on the site and building rapport offers a solution to this dilemma – well, in theory. E-people can drop off, get skittish or simply change their minds.
Last night, I scheduled to meet up with a feisty little domme for a quasi-session, i.e. let’s dance for a bit; you do this painful thing to me, and then we part company.
But when we met up, she blew me off.
I felt frustrated and moped around for a bit while a certain vinyl-clad painslut tried to cheer me up. It helped a little.
Then, today, apropos of nothing, my flatmate popped her head into my room and said, “Whoa, Screwdriver, you look really cute in those glasses.”
I am still smiling.
