Sometimes people make different uses of a gift that what the giver might intend.

One gives an old LP to a friend in the park; instead of taking it home to his non existent record player, he finds that it makes a great frisbee right there in the park, tossing it back and forth .

Not what you planned perhaps, but you did actually give an LP to a guy in the park who doesn't have a record player.
What's that? You thought he might leave the park, go out and buy himself a record player and then hear The Dead Kennedys?
No, this served him better.
He really needed the exercise and he can always download the other music.

So thank you mage, you hit 2 homeruns and got hit by a pitch. So you still got to first base on your third at bat

In the major leagues that is a very good game.
