That's how I feel;

Addicted and deprived,

I got a fix last night,

This morning, again deprived.

There might be more tonight,

But will it satisfy?

Insatiable, concupiscent,

Addicted and deprived.

Yearning for more,

Of the sublime and of the real,

The latter can be so easy,

But it's hardly the ideal.

My meaning is not fantasy,

The sublime is real too,

I just go on looking,

For the connection, the me and you.

But for the time being,

Until the sublime is found,

I just go on looking,

For I'm addicted and deprived.
