Late at night last week I sat alone in my favorite bar. There was some people there but it was not packed. I like to eat alone, I find it more peaceful. While I waited for my food I noticed her on the other side of the diner, her eyes fleeted over me so lightly I almost missed it but I felt it and half a smile crawled onto my lips.
I looked up and saw her, sitting alone on the other side of the diner. A lovely brunette dressed with a casual black dress not too revealing but not too modest. She was just right.
I searched for her eyes with mine and the next time she looked up our eyes locked. I looked deep into her, measuring and metering her reactions. She stared at me like a deer in the light of an oncoming truck. I could see her breath catching and her neck held straighter. I went on looking and I could see her try to disengage but my eyes held her. My gaze stripping her from her masks, from her inhibitions, giving her the approval she longed for but maybe didn't know she had. The sense of being dominated by me, a stranger, from all the way across the room made her feel something unknown, enticing and frightening at the same time.
I couldn’t see her nipples from where I sat, but I was sure they were erect just as I knew she must be getting wet as I held her gaze. I nodded my head slightly. Permitting the next step but not knowing what it was. I felt my pull on her like a magnet pulling on an iron rod. I could see her swallow saliva and trying unsuccessfully to regain her grip only to fail miserably. Suddenly she stood up, and I knew it was the moment of decision, my eyes never left hers. She got down on the hands and knees, keeping her head up, looking at me, searching for my surprise or shock, but she got none, now I already knew what is coming.
She started to crawl her way through the tables, chairs and the people who sat for dinner, looking at her with surprise or amusement, she didn’t care. Her eyes were on mine, looking, asking. I just held her with my eyes, encouraging her to go on. She crawled all the way to me. Her eyes climbing and her neck stretched to keep her eyes on mine. As she stopped by my chair I could see her quick breathing, her dilated eyes and her trying to swallow some none existent spit into her stone dry throat. She said something so softly I could not hear her. I looked askance at her, she swallowed again. "Please" she said and repeated…"Please".
I smiled again and nodded, I didn’t know her name, her background, her thoughts but I did know one thing. More than anything else. Her existence in those moments was reduced to her gaze into my eyes. I sent my hand and petted her head gently. Never removing my eyes off of hers. "Yes" I said and knew she was mine.
