Thank you for revisiting my evaluation form, and for all your guidance and caring.

If I remember correctly, While filling out my original form I answered a question about why I’d like to improve my playing with: “I’m not sure”.

Back then my wife just broke her leg on what was our first nature hike after a long lockdown. We waited eagerly for it, and planned to hike and scuba dive a lot. 

So I needed to find something to keep me relatively sane, and something drew me back to the guitar.

Now when I’m facing my own injury and listening to Steve Vai’s latest album, unable to pick up my pink Ibanez PIA and shred,

It’s clear to me that there is an essential desire in me to play rock and metal guitar, and it has been there since I was very young. 

I have improved so much since I started the lessons with you, and I thank you deeply for it.

My goal is to continue conquering this road, continue to improve and find new ways to express my ever burning desire and heartache, my craving for euphoria while being drenched in melancholia.
