Once upon a time, a prince walked through his garden. In that garden, there was a caterpillar. The caterpillar approached the young prince and they played for a little while and shared a few laughs. When the night came, the caterpillar said: "I have only one desire in my heart, I want to be your friend". The young prince looked upon the caterpillar in amazement and replied: "How can a prince like me be friends with an ugly larva like you?" and walked away.

A few days later, the young prince roamed through his royal gardens once more and ran into a beautiful butterfly. He approached the butterfly and they played for a little while and shared a few laughs. Then the prince said: "I have only one desire in my heart, I want to be your friend". The butterfly looked upon the prince in amazement and said: "A few days ago, you didn't want to be my friend". The prince was shocked to discover "You are the larva I met before? But you are so beautiful now!".

The butterfly then replied: "I was always beautiful; it was you who couldn't see it and how can a beautiful butterfly like me be friends with an ugly prince like you?" and flew away.
