ליידי תמרה​(שולטת) - Seriously now, after I read about it last week I had nightmares. Actual nightmares in which I am being persecuted by the SHABAK with some of my leftie friends, and I'm not allowed to defend myself in court.
The only other time in which I had nightmares after reading something was when I was 15 and had just read 1984.

screwdriver - It's scary how easily "security" becomes an excuse for a political cover-up.

We want to believe our government. But it often exploits our patriotism.

ליידי תמרה​(שולטת) - I've stopped believing when I saw some things with my own eyes and then read the government version of it, time and again.
I've been teargassed, my pants caught fire, I was detained for something completely legal, (All different occasions) I saw some horrible things. I really don't think I can trust my country anymore, and it saddens me so.

screwdriver - Talking about Bil'in? I have friends of friends who've been to demos there.

ליידי תמרה​(שולטת) - Not only there, also in west Jerusalem, in a GLBT thing and in Tel-Aviv in a student demo - police brutality is rising all over. But the funny thing about Bil'in is, after the Palestinian people who led the demo decided it was over and told everybody to walk back to the village we were ambushed by two groups of soldiers who shot teargas and shock grenades at us (illegal!), at the road ahead of us and at the road behind us, blocking our way to the village, after the demo ended peacefully! That was not the story in the media afterwards, of course.
