הפרויקט למיניות אלטרנטיבית מושרש ברעיון שכולנו, בני אדם מודעים, ללא קשר לתשוקות או לנטיות שלנו, ללא קשר לרצונותינו או צרכינו, ללא קשר לעיר בה קבענו את מגורינו, זכאים להזדמנות לשיח פתוח ובטוח בנוגע למיניות.

אנו מאמינים שלכולם צריכה להיות גישה למידע מדויק ואיכותי לגבי מיניות, בריאות מינית ובטיחות.

אנו מאמינים שלכל בני האדם מגיע מרחב בטוח ומקבל לשאול שאלות, לגלות את עצמם ולבנות קהילה.

ניפגש אחת לשבועים, ללמוד ממקורות אקדמיים ויומיומיים, ללמוד אלו מאלו ומעצמנו.
תיקוותנו היא שהמשתתפים יבואו להוטים לקרוא וללמוד וכן להיות מוכנים לשתף ידע, תהליכים וחוויות אישיות.

המפגשים יורכבו משילוב של דיון ברעיונות מופשטים, למידת מונחים חדשים ורעיונות חדשים ודיבור על חוויותינו שלנו. נשלב מאמרים, בלוגים, ספרים, פעילויות וחומרים אחרים על מנת ליצור חווית לימוד ושיתוף אורגנית והוליסטית.

אנחנו מבינים כמובן שכל אדם לומד, מעבד וחולק באופן שונה ואיננו מצפים מכל אדם להיתחבר לכל שיטות העבודה. תקוותינו היא שלאנשים יהיו מספיק אמון וידע על מנת לבחור את דרכי העבודה שהם הכי מתחברים אליהן.

The Alternative Sexualities Project is rooted in the idea that everyone, as a conscious human being, no matter their desires or orientations, no matter their wants or needs, no matter the city they have made their home, should have an opportunity for open and safe discussions about sexuality.

We believe that everyone should have access to quality and accurate information about sexuality, sexual health, and safety.

We believe that everyone deserves a safe and accepting space to ask questions, discover themselves, and build a community.

We will meet every two weeks, to learn from academic and lay sources, from each other, from ourselves.
It is our hope that participants will come eager to read and learn, willing to challenge perceptions, and ready to share personal processes and experiences.

The meetings will consist of a combination of discussing abstract ideas, learning new terms and concepts, and talking about our own experiences. We will incorporate blog posts, books, activities, and ourselves, for a holistic and organic learning and sharing experience.

We understand, of course, that everyone learns, processes, and shares differently, and we do not expect everyone to connect to all methodologies. It is our hope that folks will have enough self trust and knowledge to select the methods that they most connect to.
